Situation
$1B e-Discovery and e-Forensics company with 1,000 employees in 40 branches globally needed carve-out and integration.
Impact
We were ask to stand up the IT PMO (IMO) and brought a tiger team to lead all separation strategies and execution for the Private Equity fund's portfolio company. The infrastructure included 3 Data Centers connecting 4 Continents of offices, and a complex legacy MPLS network.
The technology stack cutover that conveyed to the buyer had no staff to take over operational responsibility.
TDG led the evaluation and selection of the Managed Service Provider for Operation support and incident management.
Resolution
The team was able to navigate a difficult seller with limited access to resources, but in turn exited an expensive monthly TSA burn rate on time (within 6 months) and on budget.
A successful one-weekend GLOBAL cutover minimized business interruption and impact.
